HG Communications Inc. installers and service technicians are put through a rigorous 45 to 90 days safety and cable certification program allowing us to prepare them for classification testing. This training consists of both classroom and field training. All Installer and Service Technicians are classified as one of the following :

  • Installer I (video only)
  • Installer II (video, modem, networking)
  • Installer III (video, modem, networking, phone)
  • Installer IV (video, modem, networking, phone, Business Class Services)

This training and certification program was developed in compliance with SCTE, NCTI / Jones Cable installer certification programs.
